Estonia - You're Beautiful!!
Sunday I decided to take a day cruise to Estonia on the Star/Superstar. The shuttle would leave at 10:30AM so I figured I would get there at 10:00 planning to go on Bus 15A so I didn't have to walk all the way to the West Terminal. Well that plan failed miserably because I couldn't understand the time table for the bus and I never saw 15A so I ditched that plan and started walking the quickest way trying to follow the map. Great plan indeed in the freezing cold weather, but in the end the plan worked remarkably. :) As I bought my ticket about 10:20AM I hauled butt to the gate and proceeded to walk as fast as I could. Yeah mind you it was cold and I had just been walking for almost an hour and now i was attempting to run uphill. Yeah...
Next to me was a guy with sunglasses laughing as he also tried to run up these uphill ramps. I, too, couldn't stop laughing as I was out of breath and trying not to miss ithe shuttle because the next one out was in 4 hours. That would ruin the plan of the trip in Estonia! So I just laughed and followed him. Later I saw him with his crew and I guess in this case it paid to be late. :) He was James Blunt!! Oh and if you don't believe me cause you can only see his bootay...well Claudia from Germany (my new friend) got his autograph! So it's proof! Take a look at the picture! By the way not only is he HOT - he is also very polite! And if you think James Blunt is famous I got to meet the chair of the Finnish delegation, Paavo Arhinmäki on Friday night after the Olivia party!! WOW! See these are the good things that happen when you talk to strangers...

So the shuttle took about 2 hours to get to Tallinn, Estonia and it was like a mini cruise ship with shops, casinos, some dude playing the guitar which I requested songs and a bar! Pretty fun and the trip went very quickly cause Claudia and I were just talking nonstop since we met. It was def worth the trip. I walked around most of the day sightseeing and shopping. Then when my feet got tired I stopped at Old Hansa Restaurant to eat some yummy medieval food. I spent most of my time in central square or old town. Then I played in the snow. Wait till you see the video. hahaha I also walked up to Toompea Hill where there was an Orthodox Church and a great view spot. I even visited the Estonian History Museum. After all that I went back on the shuttle and took a nap and then decided to go out in Helsinki to play some pool. :) It was def a beautiful day! :) I forgot to mention that I got attacked by pigeons at one point and the lady at Old Hansa said that they must have thought my hat was a nest. It was pretty funny. When i say attacked...you can imagine...
Also, I didn't stay in the Hostel I just took the picture because it reminded me of the movie...scary!

WOW! Meeting James Blunt and being attacked by pigeons....what an eventful day!!.....lol....It's neat to see the images you take and kind of track along (in a sense) with your adventures. Good thing you like the snow....Isn't it too cold for a native Floridian? :-)
James Blunt, huh? Did he sing to you? "You're beautiful!" Now, I see the double meaning in the title of this blog post. Estonia IS beautiful though...and I...am totally J. Miss you! Chicken butt??
