The Latest...Wednesday Feb 11
So, today here at work we have our monthly meeting where we all as groups talk about the latest projects and what to expect in the given month. For my group we will speak about the web design of Olivia, which is to launch mid March. We are well on our way with the shell of the design and this past week we have been making tweaks to banners and fixing style issues. Also, Tuomas will speak about the GROW program and I will present myself. It is nice because I have already spoken to most of the people that work here so its not so bad giving a speech after most already know who I am. Should be Great! Last night I had fun! I went to Erottaja Bar and the We got beef with Tuomas. Both places were very chill and a nice atmosphere. Then I walked back to my flat but got lost yet again. hahaha Erottaja bar (as stated in the very well known pink book here in Finland) has maintained hip status for years. The crowd consists of mainly architects, art students and their look alikes. We got beef is a place where skaters, DJs, graphic designers all hang out. It was a quiet night there but was def in good company. Then after getting lost on the way back home I stopped back in Molly Malones to see the band of the week...Cousin Bill. (http://www.mollymalones.fi/v2/molly_malones.html) Then I had to call it a night. :)
Another thing I noticed about Finland is their fashion style. Everyone has there own and it's a style I would considered interesting for sure. Most colors I have seen here lately are black and gray. I have blue on today so I think I may stand out, but then again I stand out anyway. It is common to see blonde hair here and light eyes. If a Finn does have darker hair...their eyes are either blue or green, but def not a combo of brown hair and brown eyes like myself...which would make me not a Finn obviously :) This weekend I was thinking of taking a trip to Estonia. We have our party for Olivia 2 year anniversary on Friday and then Sunday I might go out to Tallinn, of course whatever I do I will make sure to blog. I am so happy that you are enjoying reading this cause to be honest I very much enjoy speaking about my adventures. I can't say enough how fortunate I am for this opportunity!!! :)
To comment on your comments: I have to say it was quite the scene with the moon in the background of the Uspenski Cathedral. I thought it was so beautiful. :)
I haven't tried the Grilli kiosks outside yet, but I noticed them all over. Maybe tonight for dinner. I don't have plans yet so that to me sounds like a good one!
Nordic Walking is defined as fitness walking with specially designed poles. It evolved from an off-season ski-training activity known as ski walking, hill bounding or ski striding to become a way of exercising. Oh and I haven't tried any sledding or ice skating but believe me...I will. I cannot wait!

so it was just a regular, quiet night at Molly Malones? hmmmmmmm....
Looking forward to hearing how the presentation about you went.
Glad you got to see the Hotel Kamp (City Exploring on Monday Night post). Only 999 more to go! And thanks for the shout out.
No pictures of snow angels?
