Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiitos!!

My last weekend in Helsinki was spent with some friends on Friday night for dinner and dancing. Saturday, I went to the park and soaked in the sun as much as I could. (It makes me laugh because it was, like, 52 degrees F.  In Florida, we actually think that is cold..hahaha.)  Sunday, I went out to Suomenlinna which is something I had to do before leaving Finland. Today, they are throwing a pre-vappu party for me here at the office. I am so excited, although I am sad at the same time. I can't believe how fast these three months went.

I want to say Thank you! Kiiiiiiiitos! This experience has meant more to me than words can explain. From helping launch the website, designing the travel shopping supplement with Tuomas or working on the Olivia International (English version of Olivia to help you understand what a great magazine Olivia is and how much it has to offer), experiencing a new culture, meeting new people within Bonnier, exploring the city of Helsinki, seeing snow, skiing, snowboarding, bowling, ice swimming, meatballs, redrum, ebar, museums, art, ice skating, Suomenlinna, visiting MTV3, visiting the printing house, speaking about magazines to a Finnish high school, having Easter celebrations with Hanna and Tiki, getting on the tram...getting off the tram, the metro, the railway station, Happy Day, trying to get into rock bars with Minna (keyword...trying), Design Museum with Petra, shopping around with Niina, my talks with Helle, the infamous coffee machine, walking on ice, I had the time of my life here during my three months. I think one of the main things to remember about this experience is take it for all it's worth. Be open-minded. Try new things. Dance like no one is watching even if it's the silliest dance you have ever done. This experience has been positive in both my training and also my personal life. I have met some really wonderful people and have tried things I have never thought I would ever do. Thank you so much to all of you for being so very nice to me and for welcoming me to your family here at Bonnier Publications. It will be an experience I will never forget.
