Youthful...ALWAYS

Again, I wanted to thank DIGSBY and DERVISS for organizing my very thoughtful box I received. I can tell it was very thought out because the movie I loved very much while wearing my kids heart socks (only Derviss and I wear kids shoes.. and socks. Well ok my Mom, too hahaha) I also very much like the headband and stickers and the picture magnets that incidentally I had to put on my washing machine cause my fridge actually is more like a cabinet and isn't magnetic but they look great on the washer, too! I don't think I will ever grow up...I'm such a kid really! When they said Finland would want someone to join their youthful team! I think that is one word I would say about myself!! People have commented to me here that it is brave to be here in this town doing things alone but to be honest I wouldn't say it's bravery...more of adventurous and crazy! But I am loving every minute of it. And I am happy to share with all of you the experiences I have here. I have been having some weird dreams the past couple of days and I think it's hitting me how much I miss home. As much as it is a great experience here and the best opportunity ever...like Dorothy says there really is no place like home. :) And of course I miss all of you!! So as I think of you today - also think of me. Today is going to be my nameday I decided. They have it here in Finland and obviously Shannon is not a Finnish name so I am going to say as a kid today will be my nameday! Love you guys! By the way I can't stop eating peanut butter m&ms for breakfast! Yummy! I think this weekend I will continue my youthfulness and hit up the zoo here. Why not right? I totally got passed by a nordic walker this morning. It was too funny! :)

P.S. Thank you Todd also for my Valentine card. I got it this morning and wanted to say thank you! It was very thoughtful and sweet of you!

Shrimp eats crazy things. Oh yeah! There's a natural balance in your eating plan so enjoy. Don't go getting homesick on us, but it is soooo natural to miss the USA and all of us. We miss you too. Hope you get a chance to visit the zoo, if that makes you happy. What do the Finnish call you? Do you walk to work in all that snow and low temps every day? Hugs and BK, Mombo
